FORMER Lagos Police Commission and pan-Yoruba socio-cultural association, Afenifere, have descended on the composer of the anti-Igbo song being circulated in the north.
They said the composer has an evil intent, an ill-conceived plan to plunge Nigeria into another civil war.
The sponsors of the anti-Igbo song, they said, must be fished out by Nigeria's security agencies.
Speaking on the incident, Odumakin, the Afenifere spokesperson said the anti-Igbo song is none other than another genocide brewing in the country adding that Nigeria is inching closer to the Rwandan situation by every passing day.
He said:  “It is a sign of clear and present danger that this country is inching towards a Rwandan situation.

“The Nigerian authorities are so lame that they cannot lift a finger to do the right thing.”
Tsav while appending his opinion on the issue said the song could put the country at war.
He said, “The composer of that song is irresponsible. The person wants to put the country at war. The Igbo are Nigerians.

“Security agencies should arrest the person and charge him or her for incitement.”
