The leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu has received yet another punch from the National Chairman of Independent Democrats party, Chief Edozie Madu as more criticism come in against IPOB stance in the forthcoming Anambra gubernatorial poll.
Madu said in no uncertain terms that Kanu lacks the power to interfere or stop any elections anywhere throughout the 36 states that make up the federation of Nigeria.
Speaking further, he described IPOB threat to disrupt November 18 poll in Anambra State as none other than an empty threat which if eventually actualized will trigger dire consequences.

He disclosed this in Awka, the Anambra State capital on Tuesday during the inauguration of the women league and a 10-man committee of the party in the state ahead of the governorship election.
He said: “If Nnamdi Kanu of IPOB thinks his movement is popular he should form a political party where he will have all the powers and legitimacy to participate in elections the way he thinks.
“We are fully prepared and ready for the Anambra governorship election. We don’t listen to such talks. We don’t want to be distracted because we are out to win. No party has presence in the 21 local government areas and 326 wards in the state as ID.
On the Ozubulu massacre, he described the act as barbaric, satanic and urged the Nigerian security operatives to track down the perpetrators and speedily bring them to justice.
Speaking further, he said, the Buhari he knows would however not allow the attackers to get away with the heinous crime.
The various security agencies, he warned must wake up and work harder to create a crime-free society.
