Some aggrieved leaders of the APC would likely revolt at tomorrow’s NEC meeting which would be attended by President Muhammadu Buhari, our correspondent learnt from credible sources.
It was gathered that some leading members of the party, who felt disenchanted and side-lined in the last two years, might likely showcase their grievances at the meeting, including setting conditions for their stay or exit from the party ahead of 2019 elections.

Some members of Presidential Campaign Council in 2015,  who spoke in confidence, said they heard of plans by some embittered NEC members who plan to raise voices at the meeting.

“But the good news is stalwarts from all over are anxiously waiting for President Buhari’s speech at the meeting which would bring out his thoughts, ideas and arguments  on party management,” one of the council members said.
“I can assure you that President Buhari would also use the occasion to show his sense of direction,” he added.
Another council member said they were eager to engage with the president not only on the future of APC but Nigeria at large.
Key APC leaders such as ex- Vice President Atiku Abubakar, Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Senator Rabiu Kwankwaso and Engr. Buba Galadima among others, who had of recent expressed reservations directly or by proxy, over how the party was being managed, are all expected to attend tomorrow’s NEC meeting.
